PICNIC

Our annual picnic will be on June 24 at the Church. The charge will be $10.00 per person.

All are welcome, and the members of all groups in the area will be invited.

The chapter will provide the burgers, hot dogs, potato salad, soda, coffee, condiments, chips and dips. Anyone who wishes to may bring food. Cover dishes and deserts would be a good idea unless you wish to bring a roast turkey, shrimp, or something of that type.

ALCOHOL is NOT PERMITTED.

Wives, children, and friends will be welcome, but we will have to charge for them.

CHRISTMAS !

Yes, I said Christmas. I have contacted the National Hotel in Frenchtown and reserved Dec. 9 for this year's party. Mark the date on your calendar and think of what you are going to tell anyone who asks what that date is marked for.

WE WILL REQUIRE RESERVATIONS and be limited to about 25 guests.

Dinner and a Movie

The next five Saturdays month is July. If you are interested, contact Pat.

On April 29, we saw the film "THANK YOU FOR SMOKING". While not the best we have ever seen, it still provided an enjoyable night.

In a surprise repeat, due to a change in plans, we did a dinner and a movie on May 20. We saw the DaVinci Code. My feeling about the film was that it was too long and reminded me of National Treasure. Other than that, it was a good film.

CHI DELTA MU

Our sister to the north had its May meeting on May 13. It was well attended and they have decided to have their June meeting.

The normal July and August CDM meetings will only be held if enough members plan to come.

Girls Night Out

Alice is continuing the "Girls Night Out". Anyone wishing information about future NIGHT OUT events and dates should contact Alice.

Weekend in Pennsylvania

Anyone wishing to spend a weekend with Alice in Pennsylvania contact Alice.

HUMOR????

A married couple was asleep when the phone rang at 2 in the morning. The husband picked up the phone, listened a moment and said, "How should I know -- that's 200 miles from here!" and hung up.

The wife said, "Who was that?"

The husband said, "I don't know. Some guy wanting to know if the coast is clear."

A blonde suspects her boyfriend of cheating on her, so she goes out and buys a gun. She goes to his apartment unexpectedly and when she opens the door she finds him in the arms of a redhead. Well, the blonde is really angry. She opens her purse to take out the gun, and as she does so, is overcome with grief. She takes the gun and puts it to her head.

The boyfriend yells, "No, honey, don't do it!!!"

The blonde replies, "Shut up, you're next!"

A blonde was bragging about her knowledge of state capitals. She proudly says, "Go ahead, ask me, I know all of them."

A friend says, "Okay, what's the capital of Wisconsin?"

The blonde replies, "Oh, that's easy, it's W."

What are you doing this summer?

Anyone doing anything interesting?

Something we could all read about?
Something we might also do?
Something that might be fun?

If you have any ideas, lets talk about it.
