PICNIC

Our annual picnic will be on June 24 at the Church. The charge will be $10.00 per person.

All are welcome, and the members of all groups in the area will be invited.

The chapter will provide the burgers, hot dogs, potato salad, soda, coffee, condiments, chips and dips. Anyone who wishes to may bring food. Cover dishes and deserts would be a good idea unless you wish to bring a roast turkey, shrimp, or something of that type.

ALCOHOL is NOT PERMITTED.

Wives, children, and friends will be welcome, but we will have to charge for them.

CHRISTMAS !

Yes, I said Christmas. I have contacted the Hotel and reserved Dec. 9 for this year's party. Mark the date on your calendar and think of what you are going to tell anyone who asks what that date is marked for.

WE WILL REQUIRE RESERVATIONS and be limited to about 25 guests.

Dinner and a Movie

The next five Saturdays month is July. If you are interested, contact Pat.

CHI DELTA MU

Our sister to the north had its June meeting on June 10. It was well attended and they have decided not to meet at the hotel in July and August.

IN PLACE OF THEIR REGULAR MEETINGS, July and August will be a gathering at Cynthia's home and a social outing of some type. Contact CDM for details.

A NOTE FROM PAT.

A friend of mine told me that some member of the community have commented that my wife's Alzheimer's condition might not be as bad if I had started bringing her to meeting earlier. At first I just dismissed the comment, however, after much thinking, I feel that I must address a misconception that the comment expresses.

No husband ever has the right to make his wife go anywhere. My wife has known about every meeting I ever went to, from the very first. Some of her early comments are still in my mind.

I have invited my wife to come on many occasions, but until her condition reached the point that she tries to follow me everywhere, even to work, I did not bring her to meetings. When in became a burden on her to stay awake late enough, and some other health problems created situations that might be uncomfortable for others, I stopped bringing her. If any member has ever considered forcing a wife to come to a meeting, I suggest they speak to one of the couples that attend the meeting about this.

Still Looking for Help with the newsletter

If anyone has anything for the newsletter, please send it to me. Events, jokes, ideas, whatever you have.

If you have any experience that you would like to share or an idea you would like to pass around. We might include a list of places to go and things to do.

HUMOR????

A Bit Nostalgic

Peter met Sharon in a nightclub. They enjoyed each other's company very much and at the end of the evening Sharon invited Peter to her place, where they quickly got involved in a very passionate and energetic session in bed together.

Finally, tired and satisfied, they both lay back in the bed and snuggled up close to each other.

After a short while, Sharon began tenderly stroking Peter's manhood. Surprised but appreciative, Peter comments, "Surely you can't be ready for more already?"

Sharon replies, "No, but every now and then I get a bit nostalgic, and I miss the days when I had mine.
