I DID IT.

After many years of delay, I have opened a checking account for the chapter. One of our long time friends mailed us a check, so I really had to do it. You can now pay dues, or make a donation by check, and even mail it to the chapter. Checks should be mailed to:

Saturday Night Regulars
Box 531
Bloomfield, NJ 07003

All checks to the chapter should be made to the "Saturday Night Regulars". If you did not know, that is our real name, where the letters S N R came from. All that was done was to change it to Greek, Sigma Nu Rho.

The next step, if I can do it and we can afford it, is to incorporate. Washington Crossing is working on this, and once they have finished, I hope to follow.

As we never have enough to pay all the bills, we should have no problem proving that we are non-profit.

Girls Night Out

Alice is going to try to continue the "Girls Night Out" even after she moves to Pennsylvania. Anyone wishing information about future NIGHT OUT events and dates should contact Alice.

Weekend in Pennsylvania

Anyone wishing to spend a weekend with Alice in Pennsylvania contact Alice.

HALLOWEEN

I hope to have our resident magician back for Halloween. She plans to practice her new show on us.

Christmas Party

Christmas is coming and the party is on Dec. 10. I hope to have the menu selections next month. I hope you will all be able make it to the party. I will have to start getting the names and numbers soon.

Last month I mentioned a comment / complaint about the location of the party. As I have not heard any more about it, I will assume that the location is all right for this year.

HELP! WITH NEWSLETTER

For those who know me, this might come as a surprise, but I could use some help with articles for the newsletter. Simply email anything to me that might be of interest. Please keep it to about half of a page as I do not have the time to edit and I can not put long articles in the newsletter.

PLEASE! Do not be offended if I do not include your article. I have not help writing, printing, folding, stuffing or mailing. It is a race to get anything out each month.

New Members

We are always looking for new members. Any member may bring someone that they have meet. Please go out of your way to make a new member of visitor feel welcome and at home.

PROGRAMS

I am looking for ideas for programs. I you have any ideas and or contacts, please give them to Pat. (A.K.A. - ME)

$ MONEY $

The attendance at meetings is going down, and some members have moved out of the area. If attendance does not improve, we may have some real money problems. If you have any ideas, or feel like making a donation, see Pat or Robin.

If it makes anyone feel less a fool for donating to the chapter, I will tell all of you that the cost of this newsletter and the cost of the website and the cost of the chapter phone are paid for by donations and not dues or meeting fees.

No time for anything else.

I almost forgot to do the newsletter this month, and I have to rush to get it out in time.

HUMOR????

Two old guys are pushing their carts around Wal-Mart when they collide. The first old guy says to the second guy, "Sorry about that. I'm looking for my wife, and I guess I wasn't paying attention to where I was going.."

The second old guy says, "That's OK, It's a coincidence. I'm looking for my wife, too. I can't find her and I'm getting a little desperate."

The first old guy says, "Well, maybe I can help you find her. What does she look like?"

The second old guy says: "Well, she is 27 yrs old, tall, with red hair, blue eyes, long legs, big bust, and is wearing short shorts. What does your wife look like?"

To which the first old guy says, "Doesn't matter, let's look for yours."

Reminds me of how I pass!!!
