A Big THANK YOU

For all the help with the food at the last meeting. Special thanks for the sandwiches that were provided by Rachel.

WIVE'S MEETING

YES, that's what I said.

With more wives than usual, and the extra meeting room, the wives had a meeting. Malissa's comment about Pat's threat to DRAG the wives to the meeting caused a few chuckles.

If the length of their meeting is any indication, they had a good meeting.

It is my hope that we can continue to have these meetings.

HALLOWEEN MEETING

Our resident magician was back and did a wonderful job, providing that our visitor from Long Island has not had any neck problems since her head was cut off.

The hotel management did the best trick of the night. The hotel was over booked, and we could not get a room. They gave us both meeting rooms, one for changing, and made the bill disappear.

Chi Delta Mu

CDM, our sister to the north, is in bad shape. If things do not improve, they will have to make some drastic changes.

Please do what you can to encourage people to go to their meetings.

Christmas Party

Christmas is coming and the party is on Dec. 10. I will have to start getting the names and numbers soon. We will have to reduce the number of Entre choices to three from the following list.
1. Almond Crusted Breast of Chicken
2. Breast of Chicken EnCroute with Mozzarella and Argula
3. Fillet of Sole with spinach, roasted peppers and crabmeat
4. Horseradish Sage Crusted Salmon Fillet
5. Grilled Filet Mignon with Pinot Noir Glace
6. Roasted Pork Poulade with Pecans and dried Cherries
7. Grilled New Zealand Rack of Lamb with Mint Port Jus Lie

RAISE THE MEETING FEES????

The topic of raising the meeting fee from $15.00 to $20.00 was mentioned at the last meeting. No one in attendance made any objection.

If there are no objections at the next meeting, or by email, the fee will be raised starting in January

HUMOR????

A lady walks up to a pharmacist and asked to buy a bottle of cyanide.

The pharmacist said, "Why in the world do you need cyanide?"

The lady then explained she needed it to poison her husband.

The pharmacist's eyes got big and he said, "Lord, have mercy???I can't give you cyanide to kill your husband! That's against the law. I'll lose my license, they'll throw both of us in jail and all kinds of bad things will happen! Absolutely not, you can NOT have any cyanide!"

The lady reached into her purse and pulled out a picture of her husband in bed with the pharmacist's wife.

The pharmacist looked at the picture and replied, "Well, now, you didn't tell me you had a prescription!"

THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WHO SEND ME JOKES FOR THE NEWSLETTER.
