WHAT NEXT?

The Picnic, what else. I have contacted the church to get the date for the picnic. I hope to get it on June 25, but will have to find out if this will work with the church. Alice will not be going to the church any more, so we will not have that connection.

SURPRISE! Megan is Back

After an absence of many months, Megan has returned. She went with us for the "Dinner and a Movie" night on Jan 29.

Girls Night Out

Alice is going to try to continue the "Girls Night Out" even after she moves to Pennsylvania. Anyone wishing information about future NIGHT OUT events and dates should contact Alice.

Weekend in Pennsylvania

Anyone wishing to spend a weekend with Alice in Pennsylvania, contact Alice.

Dinner and a Movie

The next date is April 30. If you are interested in going, contact Pat.

Wives Meeting

It is not likely that we will have a wives meeting, not enough wives are likely to be at the meeting. We will try, but don't count on it.

New Members

We are always looking for new members. Any member may bring someone that they have meet. Please go out of your way to make a new member of visitor feel welcome and at home.

I have interviewed several in the past month and hope that some will come to the meeting.

$ MONEY $

The attendance at meetings is going down, and some members will soon be moving out of the area. If attendance does not improve, we may have some real money problems.

ANY OTHER IDEAS????

Anyone have an idea for a meeting?

Dec. is the Christmas Party. The rest of the year is open. If you have an idea, please give it to me. If you know of someone who can/will give a program, tell me.

HELP! WITH NEWSLETTER

For those who know me, this might come as a surprise, but I could use some help with articles for the newsletter. Simply email anything to me that might be of interest. Please keep it to about one half of a page as I do not have the time to edit and I can not put long articles in the newsletter.

Programs

I had a suggestion that we have a theme for the night. Everybody try to dress the same way. Business suits Swim suits, trashy, whatever. Or maybe a gown night.

HUMOR

Jack wakes up with a huge hangover after attending his company's Christmas Party. Jack is not normally a drinker, but the drinks didnt taste like alcohol at all. He didn't even remember how he got home from the party.

As bad as he was feeling, he wondered if he did something wrong. Jack had to force himself to open his eyes, and the first thing he sees is a couple of aspirins next to a glass of water on the side table. And, next to them, a single red rose!

Jack sits up and sees his clothing in front of him, all clean and pressed. He looks around the room and sees that it is in perfect order, spotlessly clean. So is the rest of the house. He takes the aspirins, cringes when he sees a huge black eye staring back at him in the bathroom mirror. Then he notices a note hanging on the corner of the mirror written in red with little hearts on it and a kiss mark from his wife in lipstick!:

Honey, breakfast is on the stove, I left early to go get groceries to make you your favorite dinner tonight. I love you, darling!

Love, Jillian

He stumbles to the kitchen and sure enough, there is hot breakfast, steaming hot coffee and the morning newspaper. His son is also at the table, eating.

Jack asks, "Son... what happened last night?"

"Well, you came home after 3 A.M., drunk and out of your mind. You fell over the coffee table and broke it, and then you puked in the hallway, and got that black eye when you ran into the door."

Confused he asked his son, "So, why is everything in such perfect order, so clean, I have a rose, and breakfast is on the table waiting for me?"

His son replies, "Oh THAT!... Mom dragged you to the bedroom, and when she tried to take your pants off, you screamed, "Leave me alone, lady, I'm married!"

Broken Coffee Table $39.99
