October Meeting
The October meeting will be our Halloween Party. We will not be having our usual magic show, and the backup program on witches had to cancel. We could have a movie or just a discussion of the plans for Christmas.
We can talk about this on the 27 at the September meeting.
Girls Shopping Night
Do you like to shop?? Well have you ever been shopping and wanted to try something on but lacked the courage to do it.
At the last "Dinner and a Movie" night, as we were leaving the restaurant, we were approached by a young woman who introduced herself as the manager of the new Dress Barn just up route 130.
She was offering to help us. We could arrange to go as a group to a special after hours sale. The store would be CLOSED to the public and we would be the only customers. We could shop and try on and just have fun. The northern chapter does this and all who go love it.
I feel that this would be best if done with the Washington's Crossing group, as our membership is small.
We will have to discuss this.
Wives Meeting
The wives group is meeting on a regular basis. I hope that this continues and that more come to the meetings.
Girls Night Out
Anyone wishing information about future NIGHT OUT events and dates should contact Alice.

TIME TO
Renew Membership Cards
If you do not have yours, get it from Robin at the next meeting.
HELP! WITH NEWSLETTER
For those who know me, this might come as a surprise, but I could use some help with articles for the newsletter. Simply email anything to me that might be of interest. Please keep it to about one half of a page as I do not have the time to edit and I can not put long articles in the newsletter.
President's Note
Well, I have been back in the hospital again. The doctors tell me I am all right, but I still worry.
ANY IDEAS????
Anyone have an idea for a meeting? October will be the Halloween Party and Magic Show and Dec. is the Christmas Party.
August, September and November are open. If you have an idea, please give it to me. If you know of someone who can/will give a program, tell me.
HUMOR
While attending a marriage seminar on communication, Bob and his wife Alice listened to the instructor declare: "It is essential that husbands and wives know the things that are important to each other."
He addressed the men: "Can you describe your wife's favorite flower?"
Bob leaned over, touched his wife's arm gently and whispered, "Pillsbury All-Purpose, isn't it?"
The rest of the story is not pleasant.
