Special - Dress Barn outing this month

Becky Barn

Well, really the Dress Barn

We will be going to a
CLOSED STORE PARTY

at the Dress Barn this month. The store will close at 9:00 PM, and we will have it to ourselves until 10:00.

If you have never had the fun of trying on close in a store, this will be your chance. Coffee and donuts will be provided. All you need to bring is yourself and your money. Come! Try on! Enjoy! And BUY BUT BUY!

WARNING,

Becky and Stacy with some help from Pat, may buy out the store. You might have to hepl them carry everything gout to their cars and wait for them to come back for you.

AUG. MEETING

We did not have a pool party. (No CUE and we forgot the BALLS). But decided to wait until spring when the hotel pool is supposed to be ready. ( and we will have time to work on our figures)

OCT. MEETING

The October (National Crossdresser Month) Halloween meeting is coming. Start thinking about you costumes.

CHRISTMAS PARTY

The Christmas Party is on for
Dec. 20. SAVE the date.

Pat , Stacy and Jill visited the caterer last month and worked out some of the arrangements for the party.

  1. We will be getting more tables so everyone can sit at one time for dinner.
  2. There will be a cash bar.
  3. The menu will be about the same as last year.
  4. The price per person is not final yet..
  • NJ Support

The New Jersey Support meeting on Sept. 6 started out as a review of New Orleans during a hurricane. Pat and Ronnie arrived early and started to feel that they might be the whole meeting. One new girl arrived, so that made it three. Kara and Leah were over the Rainbow and could not come. (The wizard was busy and the ruby slippers did not fit.)

The resulting turnout was understandably small, and Jenny discussed plansfor a method of canceling a meeting in future bad weather situations

  • Chi Delta Mu

The return of CDM was marked by a NEW LOCATION. No more hotel with a leaking roof.

The new site is a church with a kindergarten changing room. The meeting room was very comfortable, like a large version of a living room and has a piano. (anybody know how to play) This could be fun at Christmas with Carols sing by all or solos by the brave.

They once again have a smoking area that is just one door away. (no more waiting for the elevator)

As an extra, they have their own parking lot that will hold about 30 cars.

There was a warning sing in the meeting room that caused some comment.

    "Do not DRAG furniture"

    FIFTH SATURDAY

The normal Dinner and a Movie was replaced with a long slow dinner and a trip to Hooters. (Pat had long wanted to do this with a group of the girls)

It turned out to be a very calm if not quiet event. Becky and Stacy got Hooters tank tops, we must make them model these for us. As the only size was SMALL, Pat did not get one, but was thinking of buying two, one for each brest.

We will return to the Dinner and Movie in November, unless some one else has a different idea.

    New Members??

If there is one area in which I fail, it is the area of membership. We do not seem to be getting any membership inquires by email. Our phone gets mostly telemarketing calls, and I do not remember to check it very often.

I do not use any Internet chatrooms, and these might be a way to get new members. If any of you can help, please let me know

    HUMOR

    A Short Fairy Tale

Once upon a time, one day, long, long ago....... there lived a woman who did not whine, nag or bitch. But that was a long time ago.......and it was just that one day.

The End ( Sorry, but I did not have room for anything else.)
