Picnic June 28 at Washington Crossing
Setup starts about 3 FOOD about 4:30
June is Here And so is the PicnicThe date has been set, June 28, and the contract signed and paid for, $300.00 to rent the church. It will be at the same place as last year. Save the date and start making plans. ALL are welcome, so invite your friends. We will go with the $10.00 per person that we did last year. If you have any ideas, tell Pat. Maybe we can come up with something new for this year. Spring and SummerWith the return of warm weather, we will try to have some programs, Cindy is working on them but has had no luck so far. Dinner and a MovieMay 31 will be the next one. Contact Pat for information. Pat may have a problem, but is working on it. BAD Christmas Party newsBad news from Frenchtown. The National Hotel is closed and boarded up. We are looking for a new site for the party. Any ideas? Bring them to the picnic. Health news.Ronnie has been to a meeting and Dinner and a movie, but became ill again with the heat wave. NJ SupportThe New Jersey Support meeting for June was a presentation by Rev. Charles of the Unitarian Church. He explained the development of Unitarianism and of the Welcoming Congregation concept. Pat announced that she would not run for vice-chair again, but would remain as co-signer for the group accounts. |
May MeetingThe May meeting was again social in nature and was very well attended. Plans for the picnic were finalazed, and everyone is looking forward to next month. Chi Delta MuThe June meeting was their last until September. Cynthia told the group that as nobody seemed interested in running for president, she would be willing to remain. A discussion followed about the problems facing the chapter and how to go about solving them. Some of the girls may get together over the summer to continue this discussion.
