HAPPY NEW YEAR

The Party's Over

Yes, the party is over for another year. This might have been the last party for some of us.

Alice is moving. This year Patty and Kristie moved to S. Carolina so the number of wives that regularly attend the meeting could really go way down.

The Party was warmer than last year. We were cold last year and a bit too warm this year. Maybe next year we will get it right.

WHAT NEXT?

The Picnic, what else. I will contact the church to get the date for the picnic. I hope to get it in June, but will have to find out if this will work with the church. Alice will not be going to the church any more, so we will not have that connection.

Girls Night Out

Anyone wishing information about future NIGHT OUT events and dates should contact Alice.

Dinner and a Movie

On October 30 there were only three of us, but it was still a fun night. We ate at the usual restaurant and the movie was Taxi. Both were good.

Special extra on Dec.18, Pat, Ronnie, Jennie and Joyce saw Ocean's Twelve. This was a last minute idea at the end of the party.

The next date is Jan 29. If you are interested in going, contact Pat.

Wives Meeting

It is not likely that we will have a wives meeting, not enough wives are likely to be at the meeting. We will try, but don't count on it.

New Members

We are always looking for new members. Any member may bring someone that they have meet. Please go out of your way to make a new member of visitor feel welcome and at home.

I have interviewed several in the past month and hoe that some will come to the meeting.

$ MONEY $

The attendance at meetings is going down, and some members will soon be moving out of the area. If attendance does not improve, we may have some real money problems.

ANY OTHER IDEAS????

Anyone have an idea for a meeting?

Dec. is the Christmas Party. The rest of the year is open. If you have an idea, please give it to me. If you know of someone who can/will give a program, tell me.

HELP! WITH NEWSLETTER

For those who know me, this might come as a surprise, but I could use some help with articles for the newsletter. Simply email anything to me that might be of interest. Please keep it to about one half of a page as I do not have the time to edit and I can not put long articles in the newsletter.

Programs

I had a suggestion that we have a theme for the night. Everybody try to dress the same way. Business suits Swim suits, trashy, whatever. Or maybe a gown night.

HUMOR

New California Wine

California vintners in the Napa Valley area primarily produce Pinot Noir and Pinot Grigio, but they have developed a new hybrid grape that acts as an anti-diuretic and will reduce the number of trips an older person has to make to the bathroom during the night.

They will be marketing the new wine as Pinot More.

Twelve Days of Christmas Revisited

Santa brought to me
12 sets of earings
11 pairs of fishnet stockings
10 eye shadows
9 shick razors
8 pairs of high heels
7 nail polishes
6 mini skirts
5 Diamond rings
4 curly wigs
3 push up bras
2 sexy nighties
and a week at Southern Comfort.

Then I woke up! Merry Christmas anyway. Hugs and Cheer

EVE and the APPLE

While visiting in Bathesda, MD the subject of apples cam up. My weird mind started to think about Eve and the apple.

The question arises 'Why did the serpent offer Eve an Apple?"

We all know that before Eve ate the apple, she was innocent and naked! Well, the serpent offered Eve an Apple because he could see that she already had a nice "PAIR"
