Crisis in Iraq

In a news release, the president of the United States has called for volunteers to assist in the relief of troops in Iraq. The president of Sigme Nu Rho has reached an agreement with the U. S. government to provide troops for this purpose.

The first group to go will consist of the following.

James Bond, who in keeping with S.N.R. tradition, will go as Matta Hari infiltrate the Iraqi insurgency.
Superman, who will go as Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman will act as a shield for convoys.
Sam Spade, who will be dressed as W. I. Warshawski
Batman, who will be traveling as Cat Woman. She will try to get all the rats.
Eliza Doolitte, who will go as Professor Higgins. She will be there to correct the English.
Dr. Jekyll- dressed as Lucrecia Borgia to work in the Pharmacy
The Pillsbury Doughboy dressed as Betty Crocker will help feed our troops
Prof. Gadget dressed as Lara Croft for graves registration
Nancy Drew will go as Columbo as JAG officers
Jessica Fletcher of Murder She Wrote dressed as Dirty Harry
Don Quixote as Joan of Arc
AND
The Penguin dressed as Ms. Piggy

RAISE THE MEETING FEES????

The topic of raising the meeting fee from $15.00 to $20.00 was mentioned at the last meeting. No one in attendance made any objection.

The fee will be raised in January to $20.00. If there are any individual problems, talk to Pat.

Christmas Party

Well, we are all set. We have 25 reservations and I don't think we can fit any more.

Chi Delta Mu

CDM, our sister to the north, is in bad shape. If things do not improve, they will have to make some drastic changes.

Please do what you can to encourage people to go to their meetings.

HELP! WITH NEWSLETTER

Please keep it to about half of a page as I do not have the time to edit and I can not put long articles in the newsletter.

PLEASE! Do not be offended if I do not include your article. I have not help writing, printing, folding, stuffing or mailing. It is a race to get anything out each month.

Dinner and a Movie

The next five Saturdays this month is December with New Year's Eve the date. I do not know if I want to do a movie that night

Girls Night Out

Alice is going to try to continue the "Girls Night Out" even after she moves to Pennsylvania. Anyone wishing information about future NIGHT OUT events and dates should contact Alice.

Weekend in Pennsylvania

We are always looking for new members. Any member may bring someone that they have meet. Please go out of your way to make a new member or visitor feel welcome and at home.
